I Like #243

Welcome to another week of things to like!

It's been a bit chaotic here,  Blue and Bentley both had follow-up vet appointments yesterday for their ear infections, and luckily the ear infections are gone.  Unfortunately, the hole in Blue's neck (where he's been scratching) is still there, so he has another round of topical antibiotics and pills (as well as the rest of the steroids for the puffy ear and his allergy pills)  And worse, Bentley got on the bottom of a small dog fight/skirmish with Blue and Spooky (I think over the fact that Bentley did not like Spooky constantly licking his face) and in the process Bentley's lower eyelid got badly torn.  So he has staples in his eyelid from the vet which we are hoping hold otherwise the vet will have to do surgery to repair it and I'm not sure how Bentley will do with that.  And of course he's on oral and topical antibiotics for the eye and his carprofen for the arthritis.  Medicine time here is quite complicated.

Spooky had been doing very well but then earlier this week he ripped a giant hole in this pouf and unstuffed it.

Then yesterday, I had to leave the dogs at home after the vet and go to work for a few hours before the storm hit.  I separated all three dogs so that hopefully no one would be licked by Spooky.  Blue did not like being shut up in the bathroom apparently.  He tore up the trim around the door, and destroyed the wallpaper and drywall around the door frame.  All that white stuff around his face is wet drywall goop.  Big sih.

But I love them-  and they can look so sweet and innocent....

Last night it started snowing and today we have about 5" and it's still snowing.  The University is on remote work and it's nice and comfy here with the dogs at home.  I'm able to keep an eye on them fairly well too when I'm here.

  1. Oh, bummer! Animals don't understand being separated and will make sure you know they're unhappy about it! Hope everyone heals up and settles down.

I'm jealous of everyone posting about the snow they got. I want!

  2. Oh you have your hands full with "the Boys". Just doing meds for Bobbin is a task, I can't even begin to imagine those three. Hope they all start getting better. Poor pouf....Glad you got to work from home and stay safe from the storms. We had a storm for 44 hours. Um only got about 4 inches of snow.
