I Like #212

Welcome to another week of things to like. This was a very productive week, one of those keep your head down and get-things-done sort of weeks.  I'm still behind, but it does feel good to have made a lot of progress on a bunch of things that had been on my list for far too long.

Lots of long days at work during the week, and long days in the studio this weekend, with lots of puppy snuggles in the evening.

A new-to-me artist this week is Wayne Tsay (via).  I love his beautiful color sense.  The pictures of cats are just wonderful.

There is a small cow in a piece I am working on right now, and I was excited to make some progress on him this week.  I'm using vintage doilies a lot in this project, hand stitching them on.  Here they were supposed to be black spots on my cow, but I think it looks like she's wearing a face veil and jelly shoes :)

The pups are as snuggly as ever.

Spooky on my lap, with Blue on one side and Bentley on the other.  The best snuggles.

  1. Oooooo three snuggly loving pups, I like the little tongue sticking out of blue's mouth there. I LOVE the cow, it's so well done and textured, can't wait to see what you make with it!!

  2. Hi,
What a snuggle...looks really nice! I like your
    Cow! Have a great day!

  3. Hi Shannon! I love the cow project! I've never seen anything like it - can't wait to see the whole finished project come together. I had to giggle at the thought of a cow wearing jelly shoes. HA! I adore all the pup snuggles - they are just the best. Happy Thursday! ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. What a chic cow! lol. It looks really cool. Pups! They look so comfy.

  5. Hi Shannon, now that is one elegant cow! And I love to see those pups, so loved and so happy. Do you have a worry about ticks where you are? We have them here so check ourselves and dog every day.

  6. Glad you had a good week! I like your cow! She’s very elegant!

  7. I love your cow! How clever to use lace!!! So nice to see your pups as well! I hope you are having a wonderful spring!
